1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using https://neutenx.com/ (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use the Service.

2. Description of service

Neutenx provides free-to-use financial calculators (including mortgage, refinance, loan, and savings calculators) along with optional account features that let you save results, set a preferred currency, and export results as PDF. Some features may be limited on the Free plan and expanded on paid plans, as described on our Pricing page.

The calculators are estimation tools. They're built using standard financial formulas, but results depend entirely on the figures you enter and simplifying assumptions (for example, estimated tax and insurance rates). Actual loan offers, payments, and terms from a lender may differ.

3. Not financial, legal, or tax advice

Nothing on this site constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Calculator results are for general informational and estimation purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any financial decision. Always consult a qualified financial advisor, mortgage broker, accountant, or attorney before making decisions about loans, mortgages, investments, or taxes.

We make reasonable efforts to keep calculations accurate, but we don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any result to your specific situation, and we're not responsible for decisions made based on these tools.

4. Accounts

Creating an account is optional and only needed if you want to save calculations, set a persistent currency preference, or export PDFs beyond the Free plan's limits. You're responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when you sign up;
  • Keeping your password confidential;
  • Any activity that happens under your account.

As described in our Privacy Policy, account data is currently stored in your browser's local storage rather than on a central server, so it is tied to the specific browser/device you signed up on.

5. Plans, limits & billing

We offer a Free plan and paid plans (Starter, Pro, Premium) with different limits on saved calculations and PDF exports, as listed on our Pricing page. Plan features and limits may change over time; we'll make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.

Upgrading to a paid plan is currently arranged by contacting us directly, as described on the Pricing page. If and when automated billing is introduced, these Terms will be updated to include billing, refund, and cancellation details before that feature goes live.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service (including automated scraping at a volume that degrades the site for other users);
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data;
  • Misrepresent calculator results as official offers, quotes, or advice from a licensed financial institution.

7. Intellectual property

The design, code, calculators, and written content on this site are owned by Neutenx unless otherwise noted. You may use the calculators for personal or internal business purposes. You may not copy, resell, or republish the site's design or underlying code without our permission.

This site may display third-party advertisements (including via Google AdSense) and may link to third-party websites for informational purposes. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites or advertisers. Visiting a linked site or interacting with an ad is at your own discretion and risk.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculator results will be accurate for your specific circumstances.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Neutenx and its operators won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or financial loss, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including decisions made based on calculator results.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms. You may stop using the Service, and remove your account data, at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
